Chief Kenneth Aldean Whitlow

Funeral for Chief Kenneth Aldean Whitlow, 79, of Trinity, will be Friday, January 18, 2019, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 7:00 PM with Retired Chief Darwin Clark, Chief Jason Jones and Retired Lt. Steve Fry officiating. Visitation will be 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home.  Chief Whitlow, who died Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born, December 4, 1939, to George Farris Whitlow and Cora Etta Anderton Whitlow.  He was the founder of Caddo Midway Fire Department and he served as Chief for 47 years making him the longest serving Chief in Alabama and received state recognition . He received numerous honors during his career .  
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters - Effie Lamon, Irene Nevils, Helen Reed, Betty Jean Whitlow and brother Buddy Whitlow.
Survivors include:
Wife - Alma E Whitlow
2 sons - Kell Cory (Delora) Whitlow and Kenneth Brit Whitlow
Daughter - Kerri Deanessa Whitlow
4 grandchildren - Victoria Ann Whitlow Louallen, Ryan Louallen, Jessica Alia Garner and Sabian William Whitlow
Pall bears will be members of local fire departments.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sabian Whitlow and Ryan Louallen.
