Josephine Borden McLemore

Mrs. Josephine Borden McLemore, 83, of Danville, Alabama passed away peacefully in her home on October 12, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Dempsey Borden and Cassie Mae Borden. Mrs. McLemore was born February 14th, 1936 in Moulton, Alabama. She was a graduate of Lawrence County High School, class of 1954. On October 09, 1954 she was married to Milford “Ray” McLemore.

Mrs. McLemore enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers. Her and her husband were in the poultry business for 20 years before retiring. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a dedicated member of Aldridge Grove Church of Christ.

Mrs. McLemore is survived by her sister, Kathleen Warren; Four daughters: Joyce Owens (Vann), Margaret Page (Jerry), Nancy Armstrong (Jerry) and Becky Hooker (Carl); Eight Grandchildren: Brandon Owens, Candice Taylor, Holli Armstrong, Cassie Goodwin, Kelli Armstrong, and Mollie Bradford, Faith Lemmond and 
Ryan Holland and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 15, 2019 at 2pm at Aldridge Grove Church of Christ. Brother Jim Bryant will be officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow the funeral at Aldridge Grove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being directed by Parkway Funeral Home.
