Will (Bulldog) Holland Obituary

Will Dean Holland, 61,  of St. Marys, Ohio and formerly of Decatur, Alabama died January 7th at 4:42 AM at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Ohio.

Dean was born October 10, 1958  in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Dean grew up and went to school in Hillsboro, Al and spent most of his adult-years in Decatur, Alabama.

Dean is the son of the late Robert Sr. and Mary (Hames) Holland.

Dean is survived by wife Tammie (Laymon) Holland and stepson Logan Galvez of St. Marys, Ohio.
Stepsons Ryan Givens and Maxwell Cannon of Decatur, Alabama.

Dean is also survive by sisters; Rebecca Pilgrim and Rose Reed Mobile, Al; June Carol Hutto, Moulton, Al; and Susan Archer Decatur, Al.
Brothers; Robert Holland ”JR” Decatur, Al and Joesph Holland Gross Pointe, Michigan.
Dean was preceded in death by; his parents and three brothers; John Irvin Holland, Owen Holland, and Gerald (Jerry) Holland.

Will Dean (Bulldog) Holland was a veteran of United States Army; A recent retiree from Continental Manufacturing were he worked as a Union representative and a senior millwright.
Dean loved sports, outdoors, and enjoyed a weekly round of golf. He was a huge University of Alabama (Roll-tide)football fan.
Dean loved people and was always friendly and out-going. He never met a person he didn’t like or find good in them. He was dearly loved by his family and friends. Bulldog you will forever be missed and in our hearts.

Dean had the bluest eyes.. and while sick they shined bluer than ever. These are comfort words from family.

As blue eyes look-upon Heaven’s door, Jesus opens the golden gates with warm loving arms.
As blue eyes fill with tears and longing for those left behind, Jesus smiles and comforts with words of love. Will my son, “Welcome home and suffer no more, you are with me.”
