Gordon Ray

Moulton - Graveside service for Gordon W.  Ray, 74, of Moulton will be Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Moulton Memory Gardens, at 5:00 PM with Mitchell Compton and Harry Hames officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.  Mr. Ray, who died Monday, July 6, 2020, at his residence, was born, November 19, 1945, to James Willis "Preacher" Ray and Mary Verda Thompson Ray.  He was a member of  Fairfield Church of Christ, retired from Delphi after 21 years and loved his farm and cattle.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers - Gerald Ray, Quinton Ray, Sister - Lois Banks, Father-in-law - James Max McWhorter
Survivors include:
Wife of 53 years Sheron McWhorter Ray
Son - Chad "Misty" Ray
Daughter - Dawn "Mark" Rowe
Grand Children - Maggie Ray, Madelyn Ray, Libby Ray, Max Rowe, Carson Rowe
Mother-in-law - Jacqueline Persall McWhorter
Pallbearers will be Jason Cartee, Kevin Cartee, McCord Compton, Randy Smith, Peyton Smith, Trenton Smith, Max Rowe.
